Football: National team ready for Sunday game

Luanda – The national soccer team held Saturday in Luanda, the last training session ahead of Sunday’s match, against Mauritius, for the second “leg” of the last round of access to the final phase of the 5th edition of CHAN2018, to be held in Kenya.

The match, to be officiated by a Zimbabwean refereeing team led by Nomore Musundiri, who will be aided by compatriots Salani Ncube and Thomas Kusosa, is scheduled for 4:30 pm., at the 11 de Novembro Stadium in this city.

The final training session held in the 22nd which last for two hours, the national team coach Beto Bianchi, privileged the technical and tactical aspects inherent in the match.

During the training they were also exercised movements, passes, shots, against attacks, finalization and shootings of penalties.

In the event of a move to the next round, the Palancas Negras will face the winners of the match between Mozambique and Madagascar, who drew 2-2 in the first leg in the Malagasy ground.

In the first ”leg” match played last Sunday in the adverse terrain, Angola won by 1-0, with Job’s goal (penalty).
