An employee at Medicine World and a security officer were reportedly robbed at gunpoint of N.dollars 27 551 at the Eros Shopping Centre, here Wednesday.
A police report indicated that the incident happened around 09h29 while the cashier and the security guard were on their way to bank the money belonging to Medicine World.
“It is alleged that whilst they were walking, they heard a vehicle approaching them, and three male suspects jumped out of a silver Corolla, grabbed one of them and demanded to be given the bag containing the cash which was carried by the security officer,” it said.
No arrests have been made and no recovery of the cash has been made.
Investigations continue.
