Angola: MPLA committed to peace design

Luanda – The Angolan ruling MPLA party, is committed to peace, stability, democracy, unity and national cohesion, so it will continue to defend them unequivocally, on the basis of respect for the Constitution of the Republic and the law.

The Republic of Angola completes, on April 4, 2017, 15 years of concrete and definitive PEACE, the greatest public good it has conquered, under the leadership of MPLA and Comrade Jose Eduardo dos Santos, President of all Angolans.

For the MPLA, PEACE, stability, democracy and national unity and cohesion are the major goals for the construction of the new Angola, because without them everything else will be difficult to realize or even impossible, and will continue to defend them unequivocally, on the basis of respect for the Constitution of the Republic and the law.

In this framework, the MPLA will continue to stimulate harmony, respect for difference and the mobilization and participation of the entire Angolan People, for the country’s sustainable development effort, in all its dimensions, ensuring equity and social balance at territorial level.

The MPLA considers PEACE a value that cannot be quantified and, in Angola, is a result that in a great deal depended on the trust placed in it by the Angolan People and the leadership of Comrade President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, who, in an intelligent, manner , Balanced manner, with great strategic vision and a lot of serenity, led the Nation to this level.

Over the past 15 years, Angola has taken steps in the areas of consolidating political stability, strengthening democracy, reconciliation and national cohesion, and has taken steps to establish the basis for sustainable economic and social development.
