The vital forces of Tuy proceeded, Wednesday in Houndé, to the raising of the colors marking the beginning of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation in the province.
The vital forces of the Tuy province devoted the first day of the 2nd edition of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation to the raising of the colors on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Houndé.
It brought together administrative and municipal authorities, heads of decentralized services, FDS, customary and religious authorities, as well as women’s, youth and CSO leaders. On the occasion, High Commissioner Issiaka Segda delivered the message of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to the vital forces of the province.
He called on everyone to be vigilant and to commit to banishing treachery in their daily actions.
“To build a strong and sovereign Burkinabe nation, we must always have the spirit of patriotism and mobilize the popular masses at all times,” he said.
With this message, Issia
ka Segda invited each inhabitant of Tuy to express their belonging to the motherland through concrete actions. “Our healthcare structures, our homes, our neighborhoods and villages, our municipalities, our cities, our places of work and worship, our cemeteries, let us always keep them clean,” the provincial authority asked the vital forces.
Under the theme: “For a strong and sovereign Nation, let us not betray our homeland!”, the 2nd edition of the JNEP will take place from October 2 to 16, 2024 in the province of Tuy around a series of activities, including a sanitation operation and a blood drive.
High Commissioner Issiaka Segda urged the active forces to participate actively in these activities.
