Ouagadougou: Minister Delegate in charge of Regional Cooperation Stella Kabré rejoiced Tuesday in Ouagadougou, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Throne Day that ‘His Majesty King Mohammed VI succeeded in a few years to structurally transform his country’.
‘His Majesty King Mohammed VI has succeeded in a few years in structurally transforming his country, modernizing it and better raising it to an exceptional level of development which commands the admiration of all,’ declared Tuesday in Ouagadougou, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad, responsible for Regional Cooperation, Stella Kabré.
Ms. Kabré was speaking on the occasion of the commemoration by the Moroccan people of the Throne Day which marks this year, the 25th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Throne of his glorious ancestors.
She indicated that ‘the inestimable progress accomplished by the Kingdom of Morocco reflects well what history teaches
us, which wants States to assess themselves in terms of the greatness and vision of their leaders not only for what ‘they are implementing reforms and structuring projects for the benefit of their populations but also for their vision resolutely turned towards the future’.
For Ms. Kabré, ‘Burkina Faso as a friendly and brother country of Morocco, is delighted to celebrate’ with the Kingdom, ‘this important anniversary’ in view of ‘the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation’ maintained by the two countries and ‘which have strengthened over the years in areas of common interest’.
Among these areas, she mentioned the visit of the Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré on June 21 to Morocco.
A visit during which ‘the two countries agreed to strengthen their relations in the areas of agriculture, transport, training and renewable energies’.
Ms. Kabré also recalled ‘the holding on June 9, 2023 in Morocco of the fourth session of the joint cooperation commission between our c
ountries (which) made it possible to strengthen the legal framework of our cooperation in the areas of diplomacy, customs, justice, water, higher education, tourism, sport, education and decentralized cooperation’.
‘The excellence of this cooperation is also characterized by the very appreciable support of the Kingdom of Morocco to our country in the fight against terrorism through the strengthening of the capacities of our fighting forces,’ said the Minister Delegate.
The commemoration took place in the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of National Defense and Veterans Affairs, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly.
General Coulibaly signed on July 24 in Rabat, Morocco, a cooperation agreement in the military field with the Moroccan Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of the National Defense Administration Abdeltif Loudyi.
