Sonangol at world energy conference

Houston – The State-run Oil Company “Sonangol” will attend, in representation of its CEO Isabel dos Santos, the Oil and Gas Conference set to start on Tuesday in the US city of Houston, Texas, meant to discuss the sector trends worldwide.

Isabel dos Santos will be among the speakers expected to address the panel on global changes in research and production field.

The four-day Ceraweek/2017 will also assess the new technologies and experiences in the field of Oil and Gas.

The event will also focus on new approaches based on sustainable development.

Among the prominent figures, attending the event, stress goes to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, ministers of Energy and Natural Resources Alexander Novak of Russia, Jabbar Ali Al-Luiebi of Iraq, Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei of Saudi Arabia, OPEC Director General Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Patricia Espinosa, and Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency.

Senior Executives from Electricity Companies Jean-Bernard Levy, Petrobras, Pedro Parente, Statoil, Eldar SAtre, Chevron, John Watson, Exxon Mobil, Darren Woods, Royal Dutch Shell, Ben van Beurden, US senator of Alaska, Daniel Sullivan, will also join the event.
