Ruling party presidential candidate on his way to Cabinda

Cabinda – The ruling MPLA party presidential candidate, JoAPound o Lourenco, left Luanda on Friday bound for the northern Cabinda province where he will be presented Saturday to militants, sympathisers and friends of the organisation.

The trip of the party’s vice president and presidential candidate is part of the process of preparation for the coming election of August this year.

During his stay in the province, JoAPound o Lourenco will visit some infrastructures under construction and others concluded and meet with representatives of civil society organisations, churches, youth and traditional authorities.

The programme also include meetings with members of the Central Committee of secretariats of the ruling party’s women and youth wings, respectively OMA and JMPLA.

JoAPound o Lourenco was appointed in February this year the party presidential candidate for next elections by the Central Committee of the ruling MPLA party.
