Namibe: Ruling party candidate meets with church officials

Mocamedes – The ruling MPLA party presidential candidate, JoAPound o Lourenco, met Saturday with church officials and representatives of businesswomen associations in southwestern Namibe province

During the meeting, JoAPound o Lourenco listened to the main concerns of the church officials and representatives of associations of businesswomen, fisheries, chamber of commerce and industry based in the region.

The Catholic church was represented at the event by priest Emanuel Kuvialeka Paulo, whereas the other religious denominations by rev. Lucas Sousa Virgilio and pastor Luis Kamuele.

The ruling party presidential candidate was in Namibe province over the weekend where he was presented to the MPLA militants, friends, sympathisers, during a rally.
