Namibe: Over 200,000 cattle to be vaccinated

MocAmedes: At least 251,000 bovine cattle in southwest Namibe province will be vaccinated against modular dermatitis, anthrax and symptomatic anthrax, Angop has learnt.

This was confirmed by provincial director of agriculture, Gabriel Felix, adding that the first phase will cover bovine cattle in the northern part of the province, which includes the municipalities of Camucuio and Bibala.

The official said that the cattle in southern municipalities of MocAmedes, Tombwa and Virei will be vaccinated later.

The campaign started this month and is going until June.
