Ouagadougou: The national association of retirees (ANR) of Burkina Faso section of Boulsa presented on Thursday, August 1, 2024 , to the representative of the high commissioner of the province of Namentenga its support for the effort of peace worth 25 thousand FCFA.
25,000 FCFA is the amount of the contribution of the Association of Retirees of Burkina (ANR) Boulsa section, to the peace effort given to the Secretary General (SG) of the Namentenga province, Bassouleymane Ouattara representing the high commissioner , on Thursday August 1, 2024 in Boulsa, in the Center-North region.
‘It is to tell our children or grandsons in particular and the fighting forces in the theater of operations in general that our hearts and minds are with them. We encourage and support them for the sacrifice they make for lasting peace in Burkina Faso,’ declared the president of the retirees of the Boulsa section, Néri Hamidou Philippe Bonkoungou.
For the occasion, the retirees made blessings to the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim
Traoré for his development efforts in Burkina Faso.
‘We have faith that with its dynamics, the territory will be restored and peace will only be a matter of days. ‘, he reassured.
‘What matters is the spirit and not the value of the amount,’ the provincial SG addressed the members of the association.
By receiving the contribution from the members of the association, Bassouleymane Ouattara expressed the recognition of the High Commissioner and that of the governor of the North-Central region to donors for their support for the peace effort.
‘What matters is your spirit as seniors and not the value of the amount,’ he continued.
Mr. Ouattara also wished a long life to the retirees so that they always support the country’s development efforts.
