Mozambique: Mozambican Delegation to Attend Offshore Technology Conference in Houston

Maputo – The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion agency of the United States government.

With a presence in over 100 U.S. cities and more than 75 countries, it is responsible for assisting U.S. companies in pursuing business opportunities in foreign markets such as Mozambique.

The Commercial Service will take a delegation of Mozambican officials and business representatives to the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), to be held on May 2-5, 2016 in Houston, Texas (www.2016.otcnet.org). This year, the Commercial Service will highlight oil and gas projects in Mozambique with a procurement seminar.

The OTC is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters. There will be more than 50 technical, investment and project management panel discussions and presentations.

The conference will attract more than 90,000 attendees from more than 120 countries and more than 2,300 exhibiting companies.

The Commercial Service will assist delegates with conference registration as well as business match-making meetings with U.S. vendors of products and services.
