Moxico: Police prepare election security

Luena – The staff of the National Police in the eastern Moxico province is preparing to successfully carry out the assurance of the subsequent phases of the upcoming electoral process.

This was said to Angop on Monday by the provincial director of the local Police Public Order, chief superintendent Cabuluteto Bernardo.

However, the police high-ranked officer stated that a training course started on Monday and is bringing together 48 members of the corporation.

At the opening of the event, Cabuluteto Bernardo said that among the subsequent phases are the electoral campaign, voting, publication of election results and the nomination of the elected officials.

He considered the next phase (electoral campaign) one of the most important and most agitated, where the police have increased responsibilities in providing security to party members during parades and rallies.
