Moxico: Consumers need to value national meat more

Luena – Consumers in the eastern Moxico Province are urged to give more value to national meat, for it presents good hygienic and conservation conditions, as well as quality.

This appeal was made last Wednesday by the director-general of the Sacassange Farming Project, Gil da Silva Coge.

Speaking to ANGOP, he explained that the increase of the culture of valuing national products will stimulate entrepreneurs to boost and improve productivity.

He guaranteed that the province has potential to produce quality meat in quantity. However, he said, local consumption is still low, probably due to cultural factors, reason why production is also currently low in this region.

Gil da Silva Coge stressed once more that consumers need to choose well their products, so that they contribute to the wellbeing and good health of their households.
