Morocco, Uganda agree to promote sustainable urban development

RABAT – Morocco and Uganda inked here on Friday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote sustainable urban development.

The MoU, signed between the Moroccan Ministry of Housing and Urban Policy, and Uganda’s Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, seeks to strengthen bilateral cooperation and build a strategic partnership in the areas of implementing urban policies, promoting social housing and eradicating shanty towns.

The two countries committed to encourage partnership actions between construction and engineering companies to achieve common projects.
