Huila: Employment Centre launches over 900 youths at job market

From this number of beneficiaries, 590 are women, between the ages of 16 and 35, said to Angop, the director of the centre, Martinho Vasquete.

He said that young people work mostly in private institutions, a sector that offers more work, especially in the civil construction, carpentry, hotels, tourism and electricity sectors.

In January, the institution sent 410 young people to attend the courses of electricity, locksmithing, carpentry, civil construction, auto mechanics, plumbing, computerized accounting, sewing, cuisine and bakery.

“Whenever the workforce is requested by different public and private companies, the employment centre orients employers”, he said.
