Humpata – A delegation of Business Confederation from the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), led by its vice president, Eliseu Gaspar, assessed Saturday the potentials of the municipalities of Lubango and Humpata, southern Huila province.
The visit which is being carried out with partnership of the television channel “Kuriakos TV” is aimed at studying the possibility of making investments in the region.
The delegation visited tourist points like those of Tundavala Crack, Cascade of Huila commune, Cristo Rei, BarracAes (Lubango).
The visit also covered the sites as Neves dams, Tchivinguiro Caves and Mirador da Serra da Leba, in addition to the “A nossa Terra” farms of the Laranjinha and UniOne (Humpata) projects.
At the end of the visit, the vice president of the Confederation, Eliseu Gaspar, told reporters that the picture taken of the two municipalities will help document the potential of the southern region of Angola, in order to contribute to the first economic conference of the CPLP, scheduled for May this year.
He said that in the first phase the delegation assessed potentialities of Mozambique.
In Angola, the delegation has visited the provinces of Luanda, Namibe, Cunene and Huila.
