Gabon wants Angolan partnership to build social houses

Luanda – Gabonese Deputy Prime Minister, Bruno Bem Moubamba, said on Thursday in Luanda that his country is interested in the Angolan partnership and experience in building social housing in Gabon.

The Gabonese Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Urbanism, Housing and Social Housing spoke to the press at the end of an audience granted to him by the State Minister and Head of President’s Security Office, Manuel Helder Vieira Dias JA�nior.

Bruno Bem Moubamba underlined that he seeks, within the framework of public and private partnership, Angolan experience in the construction of social houses.

We want to build social houses in Gabon, based on the Angolan model and experience, referring to the visit he paid to more than 120.000 houses built in four years in Lubango, southern Huila province.

He considers essential that the two countries cooperate in a wide range of areas, not just in the political sphere and on regional and international issues.

The Gabonese official praised the leadership of the Angolan Head of State, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, in the implementation of national development programmes and in the resolution of conflicts.
