France: BPC prepares tighter rules for credit grant

ANGOP has learnt that the new rules will be strict in terms of accountability.

Speaking to the press, in Paris, the chairman of the BPC Executive Commission, Zinho Baptista, said that the institution has been working to reinstate the normal credit grant process.

The BPC official – who is part of the country’s Central Bank (BNA) delegation that is making a work visit to France – stressed that the BPC is getting ready to resume the granting of credit to individual citizens and companies.

According to Zinho Baptista, soon his institution will publish the new criteria for individuals and firms to apply for bank credit in the BPC.

He also mentioned that the BPC has undergone a restructuration process, with a view to adjusting it to the international norms and rules like efficient and transparent management.
