Cunene: Interior Ministry staffs appealed to strengthen efforts

Hermenegildo Felix said so at the presentation ceremony of the new delegate of the Ministry of the Interior to Cunene Province, Tito Munana, having added that the various staffs of the institution must be properly prepared, at all levels, so that the general elections, set for August this year, can happen in a climate of peace, fraternity and social harmony.

“Angola is to hold general elections whose process is fundamental to reinforce and consolidate democracy, so the organs of the Ministry of the Interior have the responsibility to make sure this process take place in security (…)”, he emphasised.

He then specified that this readiness of the corporation has to be extended to the Border Police, Fiscal Police, Migration and Foreigners Service, and Customs offices staffs.

He also appealed to the population to make their contribution to public security by denouncing illegal immigrants.
