Cunene: Fight against dodging tax payment on imported goods strengthened

Ondjiva – The fight against dodging tax payment on imported goods has been strengthened in the last seven days, in the southern Cunene Province, by the Fiscal Police, informed last Sunday, in Ondjiva, the local spokesman of the National Police, Nicolau Tuvecalela

According to the source, the police have been taking specific measures intended to discourage the non payment of taxes on imported goods.

As a result of this dynamics, said the source, the corporation recorded in the last seven days four Customs infringements, which include money and goods contraband.

The southern Cunene Province shares a vast 460-kilometre border with Namibia, that is 460 kilometres of land and 340 kilometres of fluvial border.
