Catabola-Chilata road gains first earth work

Longonjo – At least 8 of the 32 kilometers of Catabola-Chilata section, Longonjo municipality, in central Huambo province, were earth worked one week after the start of work.

This fact was confirmed by the head of the construction company, Carlos Delfim Rodrigues, in statements to ANGOP at the end of a visit of the municipal administrator of Longonjo, JoAPound o Sergio RaA�l.

He said that the intention is to finish the work between the end of June and the beginning of July, if no constraints noted.

He also informed that work is also being done on clearing the land, widening the roadside, opening drainage ditches, and other technical works.

In his turn, the municipal administrator of Longonjo, JoAPound o Sergio RaA�l, was satisfied with the progress of the works, anticipating that it will be completed within the expected period.

He affirmed that the rehabilitation of the Catabola-Chilata section will bring improvements to the municipality of Longonjo and the western corridor of Huambo province, due to the agricultural potential of Chilata.
