A Burkinabè government delegation, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, was received in audience by the President of the Central African Republic Faustin Archange Touadéra , on August 13, 2024 in Bangui. capital .
This meeting was held on the occasion of the commemoration of the independence of the Central African Republic.
Minister Traoré carried a message of fraternity and solidarity from President Ibrahim Traoré, President of Faso, to his Central African counterpart.
During this audience, Minister Karamoko praised the quality of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the strong ties that unite them, particularly around the defense of unfailing sovereignty.

In response, President Touadéra assured that the Burkinabè candidacy would be examined with the greatest seriousness, with emphasis on the competence and qualities of the candidates, for the well-being of this renowned Pan-African institution.
