Bengo: Official calls for higher education institutions increase

JoAPound o Miranda was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2017 academic year of higher education, chaired by the vice President of the Republic, Manuel Domingos Vicente.

According to the governor, Bengo has only one State-run higher education institution created about eight years ago, with a capacity to accommodate 1,500 students.

Over 3,000 students have enrolled for current academic year at the local higher education institution.

Bengo province belongs to the first academic region.

The first generation of 109 graduates from ESPB was launched in the job market in 2016 as an intellectual work force.

The opening ceremony of the 2017 academic year took place under the motto “for a higher education of quality, promoting the culture of merit”.
