Bengo hosts World Meteorological Day event

Luanda – The northern Bengo province will host the central event marking the World Meteorological Day on March 23, under the motto “understanding the clouds”, ANGOP has learned.

The information was released Wednesday in Luanda by the spokesman for the activities, Estanislau JoAPound o.

According to the head of Luanda Weather Forecast Institute (INAMET), the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies (MTTI), Jose Carvalho da Rocha, will chair the main event.

The provincial governor of Bengo, JoAPound o Miranda, and the director general of INAMET, engineer Domingos do Nascimento, institution that promotes the event, are expected to deliver their speech to precede the main event.

During the festivities, the participants will discuss, in the first panel, “The problem of clouds and safety in air navigation”, while the second will focus on the issue under the theme: “Cloud problems in water resources management”.
