Angolan President receives credentials of new ambassadors

Luanda – At least four non-resident ambassadors handed over their respective credentials this Friday in Luanda to the President of the Republic, Jose Eduardo dos Santos.

n separate ceremonies at the Presidential Palace, the Angolan statesman accredited the ambassadors of Greece, Georgios Veis, of Finland, Anne Kristlina Salorante, Lithuania, Sigguete Jakstonyte, and New Zealand, Michael Gerrard Burrell.

The delivery of the credentials to the Angolan Head of State by these diplomats marks the beginning of their missions in the Republic of Angola.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of State and Head of the President’s Security Office, Helder Vieira Dias, the Minister and Head of President’s Civil Office, Manuel da Cruz Neto, Foreign Affairs Minister, Georges Chikoti, and secretaries of the auxiliary organs of the President.
