Angola/Mozambique: Futsal – National Team to Play Mozambique in Friendly Game

Luanda – The Angolan senior males national five-a-side football team will face Mozambique on 12 and 13 March, in a friendly game that will serve for the Angolan side to prepare for their participation in the African championship, scheduled for 15-25 April this year, in South Africa.

The information was given last Tuesday to the press, in Luanda, by the vice-chairman of the Angolan Futsal Federation (FAFUSA), Eliseu Major, who revealed that the invitation for the holding of this match came from Mozambique.

Eliseu Major said also that all the effort is being made so that the games can happen in Cidadela sports complex, in Luanda.

The source also informed that conditions for such encounter are set, adding that the local sports authorities are just waiting for the arrival of the Mozambican squad.

In the African championship, Angola, in group B, will play the first match with Morocco on 16 April, afterwards the Angolans will face Egypt (18 April) and Libya (20 April).
