Angola: State Inspection learns of Parliament’s work

Luanda – The exchange of experience on mechanisms for formulating and presenting complaints of citizens was at the heart of a meeting between the officials of the 10th Commission of the National Assembly (AN) and the General Inspection of State Administration (IGAE), who visited this Wednesday the hemicycle.

During the meeting, which was part of the IGAE’s 25th anniversary festivities program, marked on January 17, there was an exchange of experience on the work of the two institutions.

According to the Inspector General of State Administration, Joaquim Mande, the visit was aimed at getting to know Parliament’s headquarters and interacting with the 10th Commission, which deals with issues related to complaints, claims from citizens.

The official told the press that it was a positive experience because he was able to get acquainted with the various procedures of the 10th commission, which are similar to those of the IGAE.

He explained that the meeting also served to find possible channels of active interaction between the institution and the 10th commission in the future.
