Angola: Qatari Sheikh impressed by country’s development

Luanda – The Sheikh of Qatar and director of National Museum Nadia Abdul Rahma Al Mudahka, Wednesday in Luanda said she was moved to learn of development of Angola, with emphasis on the socio-cultural domain.

The official was speaking to journalists after a courtesy meeting with vice president of Lwini Foundation, Joana Lina.

Nadia Abdul Rahma Al Mudahka said she was impressed by the working conditions and the help extended to the people in the various areas.

She also acknowledged and praised the way the issues have been addressed in particular those related to the integration in the work with associations, child and elderly centres and hospitals.

The visit of the director of the National Museum of Qatar to Lwini Foundation is part of the working mission underway since last Thursday in Angola.

At the Lwini Foundation, Nadia Abdul Rahma Al Mudahka learned about its operation and experience on insertion in the work with associations, child and elderly centres and hospitals.

On Monday, the Minister of Culture, Carolina Cerqueira, said in Luanda that the visit of the Sheikh of Qatar to Angola is part of the government’s strategy to attract investments for the implementation of actions in the field of culture, as well as the strengthening of cooperation ties and exchange between the two countries.

Qatar’s Sheikh, who is in Angola for the first time, promised to make contacts with institutions in her country to ensure cooperation in social issues.
