Angola: Official visits country’s southern provinces

Luanda – The Secretary of State for External Trade, Jaime Joaquim Pedro Fortunato, is paying as from Monday a five-day working visit to the provinces of Cuanza Sul, central Bie and Huambo, under the restructuring project of Papagro.

The visits to those provinces aim at assessing the supporting logistical infrastructures for production flow in the centre-south region of the country with main highlight to Logistical Distribution Centres (Clod), as well as to characterize the capacity of food production of the referred provinces.

The official’s working agenda foresees visits to logistical, commercial and agricultural production infrastructures, as well as to interact with production cooperatives and privates operators representing the logistical agricultural sector.

The official’s delegation is also integrated, among others, by heads of departments and technicians of the National Rural Trade and Entrepreneurship Directorate and of the National Logistical and Strategic Reservation Infrastructure.
