Angola: MPLA prioritizes fight against poverty

Luanda – The MPLA presidential candidate, JoAPound o Lourenco, this Saturday in Luanda highlighted the priority of the next executive, the fight against poverty, which should include strengthening private investment, paying taxes to the state to provide better services and by the expansion of the middle class in Angola.

Speaking at the pre-campaign rally in Viana municipality, the politician emphasized the issue of diplomacy, which he intends to see at the service of the economy.

He suggested strategic partnerships in the Great Lakes Region with the countries of America, Europe, Asia and the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).

He spoke of the need for citizens who have not yet made their registration or update their electoral data within the next five days, given that the voter registration process is to end on 31 March.

JoAPound o Lourenco has already presented himself to the population of Cazenga munipality (Luanda), after having been in the provinces of Huila and Bie.
