Angola: Morro da Luz power substation to start operating next week

The electric power substation of Morro da Luz, Samba’s urban district, Luanda, will start operating next week to reinforce, improve and expand the service to 25.000 customers in the wards of Huambo (Maianga) and Gamek a Direita (Samba).

This was said to the press on Tuesday here by the regional director of the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE-EP) of Luanda and Bengo Sergio Dindanda, during the presentation of the new electrical infrastructures in Luanda.

The director said that ENDE-EP, within the scope of investments in the electricity sector underway, has responsibilities to ensure the operation of power substations, in order to cover or resolve those situations of power cuts.
