Angola: INAMET warns of hail fall in Huila

Luanda – The National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INAMET) warns of the probability of hailstones falling on Tuesday in the municipalities of Quilengues and Caconda, southern Huila province.

The institute appeals to the population of those localities to take preventive measures in order to avoid victims or incidents, due to the possibility of occurrence of the phenomenon. Hail is the precipitation that is characterized by the fall of irregular ice particles.

During the next 24 hours, INAMET also forecasts for the southern region of the country a generally cloudy sky in the interior, a little to partly cloudy on the coast and in the province of Namibe, with the possibility of weak rain or sparse drizzle in Namibe.
