Angola: Former combatants schedule actions analysed

Luanda – Angolan government Tuesday analysed the Action schedule of the Inter-ministerial Commission for Socio-economic Reintegration of Former Combatants and Motherland Veterans.

This was during the 1st Ordinary session of the Commission for Social Policy of the Cabinet Council chaired by the vice president, Manuel Vicente.

The press learnt that the document took into account the recommendations of its 8th ordinary session held in 2016, in which priority went to direct impact on the lives of former Combatants and Motherland Veterans.

These priorities include their families, especially in the fields of socio-productive reintegration, physical rehabilitation of the war disabled, institutional strengthening and housing support.

The session also discussed the draft Presidential Decree approving the regulation on registration of acts related to copyright, while for the Ministry of Youth and Sports the Presidential Decree approves the regulation of sports missions.

Analysed was also health issues, especially the response plan to control the cholera epidemic and the Zika virus.
