Angola: Dos Santos’ political trajectory highlighted

Luanda – Jose Diogo Ventura, secretary general of the “Processo 50” Association, praised on Monday in Luanda the political trajectory of the President of the Republic, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, and his deeds toward the country and the Angolan people.

Speaking at a lecture on the commemorations of the 58th anniversary of “Processo 50”, addressed to the National Police, he said that the Angolan statesman has always known how to lead the country with firmness and courage in difficult moments of conflict and magnanimous moments of peace.

“At a time when he will be exercising his last term as President of the Republic of Angola, the survivors of” Processo 50″ recognize and extol the great personality of a statesman who has always dreamt of leading the destinies of his country in the path of peace and development”, said the nationalist.

He added that President Jose Eduardo dos Santos is currently making a transition in every way worthy of the aspirations of the Angolan people.

He noted that with the achievement of peace in 2002, the Angolan statesman implemented the national reconstruction programme, beginning with the difficult task of de-mining, construction and reconstruction of schools, hospitals, new cities and creation of universities, among others.
