Angola: CNE brings together political parties

Luanda – The National Electoral Commission (CNE) is meeting this morning in Luanda with representatives of political parties to exchange information on the preparation and holding of the general elections scheduled for August this year.

According to the press release, the meeting marks the beginning of a permanent dialogue that the CNE intends to establish periodically with the electoral agents, with the aim of informing them about the organization and the development of the electoral process.

The meeting, behind closed doors, is headed by the CNE chairperson, Andre da Silva Neto.

CNE national commissioners and representatives of MPLA, UNITA, CASA-CE, PRS, FNLA, PADDA-AP, PALMA, PNSA, PDP-ANA, APN and PPA are participating in the meeting.
