Angola attends Africa Day celebrations

Luanda – Angola is attending the celebrations of the 54th anniversary of creation of the Organisation of African Unity, currently the African Union, taking place Thursday in Mozambique.

Angola will be represented at the event by its diplomatic mission in Mozambique.

Launched on Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique, the event includes political, cultural and sports activities.

A lecture on the topic “creation, goals and challenges of the OAU/AU, also marks the celebrations of Africa Day”.

African countries, including Angola, have jointly defined objectives for the continent’s sustainable economic and social development through Agenda 2063.
